Keep in mind: 1. It's normal for your kettle to show spots or rust on the stainless steel bottom after first use if you have hard water in your area. 2. If you select a preset with Keep Warm Mode on and lift the kettle during heating, the CO117-DK will continue the heating process if returned to the base within 1 minute.
